3. Seasoning variants for chicken legs

Seasoning “natural”:
Season the drumsticks only with salt and pepper.

Seasoning with herbs:
Season the drumsticks with salt, pepper and dried thyme.

Seasoning with lemon and herbs:
Season the drumsticks with salt, pepper, thyme and lemon zest.

Seasoning BBQ:
Season the drumsticks with salt, pepper, a little brown sugar, some curry and parpika.

Seasoning with garlic:
Finely chop garlic and grate finely with salt, goes well with all the above ideas.

BBQ seasoning and curry can use a little sugar or stevia. Another tip: You can coat the drumsticks with a thin thread of honey towards the end of the cooking time.

4-6 pc chicken legs (I buy organic chicken)
1 tsp starch
80 ml Water
6 pinches Salt
2-4 pinches Pepper
80 g Sesam Furikake (See Sesam Cooking box)

Side dishes ingredients

3 pc tomatoes (I use organic tomatoes)
1 pc garlic (I like to use young garlic)
3 tbs oliv oil
2 pinches Salt
2 pinches Pepper
1 tbs brown sugar (Or stevia)
1/4 bunch thyme (Or majoram for decoration)

Instruction

Prepare the chicken legs

Preheat the oven to 200 ° Celsius. Prepare the roasting tray or baking tray. Wash the chicken thighs under cold running water and pat dry with kitchen paper.

Prepare the chicken legs, sesame seeds, tomatoes, garlic and cornflour. Alternatively, choose another variation from the article.

Season the chicken drumsticks or coat them with sesame seeds.

Mix cornflour with a little cold water. Dip the drumsticks in the starch water, season gently with salt and pepper, coat in the sesame seeds and place on a baking tray.

Note on thighs or legs: The chicken legs are the upper part of the (whole) thighs. If you only get thighs, you can divide them at the joint. The preparation of the divided thighs is quicker.

The chive sauce in the picture consists of one part sour cream and one part crème fraîche, salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil and chive rolls.
