Try this egg prepared without basil with a topping of pumpkin seed oil and freshly roasted pumpkin seeds.
Replace the basil with other herbs: Parsley, lovage, fresh marjoram, chives, chervil,… I wish you good luck… Let it taste you!
Poached Eggs in a Bowl

Simple guide for preparing eggs in the oven.
Ingredients
1 | bunch | basil (I take fresh basil for the eggs) |
4 | pc | eggs |
4 | pinches | Salt (I use himalaya salt) |
4 | pinches | white pepper |
2 | pinches | Cayenne pepper |
25 | g | butter |
Instruction
Prepare ramekins
Preheat the oven to 120°C hot air and prepare a baking tray.
Grease two soufflé moulds with butter and fill the prepared egg mixture into the moulds.
Prepare herbs
Wash the basil, shake dry and put some leaves aside for decoration.
Finely pour the rest of the basil.
Prepare eggs
Beat the eggs in a bowl.
Add the basil.
Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper and stir with a fork.
Cooking and arranging
Pour the prepared egg mixture into the ramekins.
Place the filled ramekins on the baking tray and put them in the preheated oven.
Poach the eggs in the oven for 8-15 minutes.
Place the poached eggs with basil in the ramekins on plates.
Decorate with basil leaves and serve quickly.

- Preheat the oven to 120°C.
- Pluck the basil and cut finely.
- Spread the cups with butter.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
