How to Make Fine Ham Noodles in 25 Minutes!

Author:
is a chef, food photographer, cookbook author and blogger.
Here he shares recipes, answers cooking questions and helps with cooking.

You can find my fine ham noodles recipe on this page. This is a preparation variant from grandma’s cookbook. The variant for vegetarian ham noodles with tofu you can already find here on the cooking blog elsewhere. Today we add the original and it will be delicious!

Of course, I have also refined this pasta dish and summarized for you some cooking tips for new ham pasta variations.

Right up front, a few quick wins: I like to use lots of herbs and combine bacon and cooked ham. This conjures up a subtle smoky aroma on the plate and makes for a powerful, delicious appearance.

The quick number succeeds in a good 20-30 minutes, but we don’t want to be that precise.

Now enjoy the instructions with step by step photos and cooking video.

Have fun and good luck.

Grate cheese

Finely grate the Parmesan cheese.

3. New Cooking Tips for Ham Noodles Variants

I have summarized some tips for you below. So you can prepare great variations of this pasta dish.

–> Lightly roast garlic creates the typical taste that we know from spaghetti aglio e olio.

–> Onions cut into strips or lozenges replace the shallot.

–> Use nut butter for the preparation, the taste is quite fantastic!

–> For the pasta type, typical spirali pasta is a good choice.

–> Other types of pasta: Fusilli, Girandole, Farfalle, Gobbetti, Maccheroni, Pipe Rigate, Rigatoni, Tortiglioni.

–> Small pasta varieties give a nicer picture on the plate.

–> Small pasta types can be better matched in terms of taste.

–> Add freshly fried herbs like parsley, lovage or basil.

–> I like to supplement with colorful sesame furikake when decorating, visually and tastefully a kick!

–> You can add stewed cocktail tomatoes instead of tomato ketchup.

–> Please drain the noodles carefully after cooking, otherwise you dilute the preparation.

–> I usually add fresh herbs at the end, so the green color is preserved.

–> Use fresh herbs according to the season: Garlic okra, wild garlic, lovage, parsley….

–> Add wild garlic pesto, carrot green pesto or pesto genovese to the dish.

With these tips you conjure up 25 variants ham noodles!
