You can find my fine ham noodles recipe on this page. This is a preparation variant from grandma’s cookbook. The variant for vegetarian ham noodles with tofu you can already find here on the cooking blog elsewhere. Today we add the original and it will be delicious!
Of course, I have also refined this pasta dish and summarized for you some cooking tips for new ham pasta variations.
Right up front, a few quick wins: I like to use lots of herbs and combine bacon and cooked ham. This conjures up a subtle smoky aroma on the plate and makes for a powerful, delicious appearance.
The quick number succeeds in a good 20-30 minutes, but we don’t want to be that precise.
Now enjoy the instructions with step by step photos and cooking video.
Have fun and good luck.

Ham noodles recipe grandmother’s style. The popular pasta dish with new ideas for variants delicious to prepare.
|250||g||Pasta or Noodles (I have used penne)|
|1||pc||glove of garlic|
|2||pinches||brown cane sugar|
|4||pinches||black ground pepper|
Prepare the pasta for cooking. I used penne, you can also use spirals or other small types of pasta.
Bring a pot of water to a boil, add salt and olive oil.
Cook the pasta until al dente and then drain.
Cut the bacon into fine cubes. You can also buy bacon cubes ready-made, but they are more expensive than bacon in pieces.
Put the bacon cubes in the pan.
Fry the prepared bacon cubes until crispy and then put the cubes in a bowl.
You can continue to use the pan right away.
Cut the slices of cooked ham into strips and set aside extra.
Halve the shallot and garlic cloves, peel and cut into small cubes.
Ham noodles base
Sauté the vegetable cubes in the pan and caramelize with a little sugar.
Take some time for this, 5-8 minutes at reduced heat lets develop a better taste.
Put next to the stove and add the strips of ham.
Add prepared bacon to the pan.
Season harmoniously with thyme, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and a little butter.
Add the butter and keep the preparation warm.
Finely grate the Parmesan cheese.
I always do this on a piece of greaseproof paper, so the cheese is easier to transfer.
Drain well the pasta cooked al dente.
Then add to the pan and mix with the ham and bacon preparation.
Arrange food on plate
Arrange the ham pasta on hot plates.
Decorate with basil cut into strips.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
Decorate with tomato ketchup.
Serve quickly and enjoy.
I wish you a good appetite!

–> For the pasta type, typical spirali pasta is a good choice.

–> Small pasta varieties give a nicer picture on the plate.
–> Small pasta types can be better matched in terms of taste.
–> Add freshly fried herbs like parsley, lovage or basil.
–> I like to supplement with colorful sesame furikake when decorating, visually and tastefully a kick!
