My red wine pears recipe as an addition to game and roast or as a dessert I show you in this post.
The best ideas arise when you – once again – had bought too much.
So I sat there with my wonderful pears and already had many other things on the menu.
That’s why I came up with this fantastic concoction.
It preserves the pear a bit and, once prepared, also takes a bit to ripen.
Plus, it’s also a great Christmas-themed way to prepare pears.
I don’t want to keep you in suspense any longer. Let’s go to the kitchen!

One last tip from the kitchen:
When you have tested the cooking level of the pears, please take them out of the hot broth.
Depending on the type of pear used, the pears will be extremely soft.
Then put the pears back into the cold broth and let them ripen cooled with a lid.
